pyarrow.compute.is_dst

pyarrow.compute.is_dst(values, /, *, memory_pool=None)

Extracts if currently observing daylight savings.

IsDaylightSavings returns true if a timestamp has a daylight saving offset in the given timezone. Null values emit null. An error is returned if the values do not have a defined timezone.

Parameters:

valuesArray-like or scalar-like

Argument to compute function.

memory_poolpyarrow.MemoryPool, optional

If not passed, will allocate memory from the default memory pool.
